Subject: Urgent - pit puppy with parvo - donations for medical care needed
This beautiful pup is only 3 mths old and has already had to deal with so much suffering. Right after a good samaritan rescued him from an abusive situation he was then diagnosed with Parvo. The people who rescued him had limited funds so the vet where they took him made a deal with them that they would reduce their rate but the puppy would not get any overnight care. This puppy has Parvo! He has to have 24 hour care. Instead the vet closed at 5PM and this sweet baby would not even be seen again until 8AM. For 14 hours he would be alone with his IV running! He would vomit and spew bloodydiarrhea in the night and no one was there to help him. The key to parvo is treating it right away and treating as aggressively as possible. This was not done for this pup and now he is is grave danger.
When I heard about the situation I went to see him and there was no way I could leave him. However, there are no funds for his care. I set up this page to try and raise money to give this boy a fighting chance. We are already behind in the fight. Its now day 5! He is trying to hang in there and he is definitely fighting to stay alive but he is going to need support.Please network this email to anyone you think may can help. I took this photo when we sat him up to change his pee pad. He could barely balance because he is so weak but he tries so hard. And when you scratch his cheek he tries to move in to snuggle against you. It's so absolutely heartbreaking
